Marking: The left side of the barrel is marked “WINCHESTER MODEL 94AE CAL. 30-30 win. / -MADE IN NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S.A. – WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL-“. The upper part of the barrel is marked Winchester proof. The bottom of the receiver is serial numbered “A&A ENGRAVING Inc. / Rapid City S.D.”, “026 of 300” and “AMERICA REMEMBERS” TM AHL © MECHANICSVILLE VA.”. The top edge is marked “R / R” and signed by Roy Rogers. As stated on the ‘America Remembers’ website, “On the right side of the receiver is Roy in two familiar scenes with six guns drawn and cocked on his legendary 24k gold and nickel gold palomino Trigger. On the left side of the handset is a classic portrait of Roy with his signature scarf and Stetson in 24k gold and nickel. The solid walnut stock is laser cut to dramatic effect. Both the left and right sides of the stock feature a stunning silhouette of Roy and Trigger, posing in front of a mountainous western vista at sunrise and surrounded by the legend “King of the Cowboys”. On either side of the stock, a coiled lariat expresses the familiar signature of Roy Rogers.” The sides of the case also have a decorative scroll engraving. There are jewels on the hammer and screw.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a gold beaded blade with a hood atop a knurled extension that is bolted to the barrel. The sight is a U-shaped elevator sight with a white triangular sight guide.
Stock Configuration and Condition: Stocks are engraved walnut with banded forearm, straight grip, straight comb, and Winchester checkered hard rubber stock. The wood shows only a small amount of light wear on the left side. There are no chips or cracks. LOP measures 13 5/8” from the front of the trigger to the rear of the hard rubber Winchester checkered plate that shows no significant wear. Stock is in about Fine-Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp and deep. There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the breech shows light signs of handling. The gilding is bright and beautiful. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are sharp. Overall this rifle is in excellent condition.
Mechanics: Winchester 94AE Roy Rogers , The action works correctly. We have not fired this rifle. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork and Accessories: This rifle comes in a red Winchester box with a cloth guard and white gloves. The box has several punctures on the back and one on the bottom. There are several folds.

Taken from the America Remembers website: “For generations of children, Saturday afternoon was saddle time. Some settled into a double role at the local movie theater, and some strapped six guns to themselves in the backyard. There were plenty of heroes on horseback, but leading the pack each week was sagebrush warbler and “King of the Cowboys” Roy Rogers. To this day, Roy Rogers remains one of the most popular cowboys to ever ride the range during the golden age of westerns. In his career, Roy appeared in more than 100 films. In 1943, he surpassed Gene Autry to become Hollywood’s top western star. It remained at the top of this list for more than a decade. At the height of his popularity, Roy’s films and personal appearances broke all attendance records. His comic books sold over a million copies a month and his television show attracted a huge, loyal following. Roy Rogers did things bigger and better than everyone else. He could steal the show with a gun or a guitar. He rode the smartest horse in the movies and hunted down villains while still fighting. All of this made taming the Wild West look easy. Winchester 94AE Roy Rogers was a shining example of good old cowboy values and a role model who showed us the difference between right and wrong. No matter how many unscrupulous individuals tried to bring him down, Roy proved that good always prevailed. This rifle is beautifully decorated with 24k gold artwork. The barrel, lever, trigger, hammer and hood are decorated with 24 carat gold. This rifle is in excellent condition and is waiting for one lucky person to take home.
